Max out on gold and experience pointsSent in by areofightr@aol.comIn the first mines, in the first area find an area if you kill a bat another comes. Tape your Y button down, and leave it over night. You will probably be at level 16, with 65535 exp, and gold, and that will be everything maxed out except your items and things. You don't have to leave it over night, you can just leave it for a long period of time.
Get lots of ringsSent in by areofightr@aol.comOnce you get the healing ring, get your rings maxed out by the shop person, then go to the Ilvern ruins, and go to the first area outside the temple. Get on the hill with the tree on it, equip the healing ring, hold up, and hold Y. The birds will fly down, and you will get so many rings, you will always stay at 255, and your health will be always maxed out because of the healing ring. 
Where is the Protection Ring and how do you get it?Sent in by Michael BuntjerWell first of all you have to go to the first cave and retrieve Roberts Pendent. Next go back to town and go to the old lady's house and give it to her. She will then give you the Protection Ring!!!
Skip an enemySent in by KewlioWhen you are facing a tough enemy, but it's not a boss, and saving is allowed, don't fight the enemy. Instead, save your game and load it again. The enemy has disappeared! The game only keeps track of where people are, not enemies. That's why you can't save during a boss.
Warp around the screenSent in by Rex & Mary RicheyYou can use Controller #2 to warp around the screen, it's just like flying!  If you use Controller #2 you can destroy end enemys by pressing Start!
InvincibleBegin a game and press RESET on your machine.  When the American Sammy logo appears, use Controller 2 and press Up, Down, Up, Down, Select, Start before the logo fades out.  When the Continue screen comes up, select "Continue" on controller 1 and go to any previously-savedarea.  Press Select to display menu, and then go to the status screen.When it shows up, press Select on Controller 2.  The word "debug" should appear next to the status.  When you continue your game, you will be invincible!  (You can use Select on Controller 2 to toggle debug mode.)

Infinite lifePress Reset and wait for the American Sammy logo to fade completely onto the screen. Then press Up, Down, Up, Down, Select and Start on Controller 2. You must finish this code before the "Logo Screen" starts to fade off. If it fades even a little bit, the code will not work. Once this is done, and the Start/Continue screen appears, select Continue with Controller 1, and enter any area you've been to before. Press Select on Controller 1, and select "Status." When the status screen is up, press Select on Controller 2 and the word "Debug" will appear next to "Status." If you get it to work, you will still lose energy when you get hit, but every time your life meter runs out, it will be automatically filled back up to max.  
Hidden sound test menuAnytime during the play of the game, press Select on Controller 1 to bring up the command menu, then press Select on Controller 2 to bring up the hidden sound test menu. Press Up or Down to change selections, and B to hear them.
