This will enableyou to run right into enemies without losing energy.  Thisis ineffective against the spiders that suck your energy in the later levels, however.
See the endingPause the game. Press Right, Left, Down, Right, B, then Start to see the ending. Music confirms that it was done correctly.
Sound TestGo to the "Option" screen and highlight "Exit." Hold L, R, X and A, and press Start. The screen will switch to a "Sound Test" screen. 
Skip the LevelPress Start to pause the game. Then press Right, Left, Down, Right, A, and Start to skip the Level.
