Sound TestPlug the four-player adapter into port 2. Insert a Controller into slot 4 and turn on the power. With Controller 4, hold R to make the Sound Test appear. Use Up or Down on Controller 1 to select different sounds and press A to hear them.
Become invincible for a short period of timeTo make it a bit easier and become invincible for a short period of time, after you die or start the level, drop a bomb and stand where you dropped it (you should be invincible.) when it explodes keep tapping the bomb button and you'll have a force field of fire so you just have walk into theenemies to kill them. This only works when you are invincible!

You have to wait for him to give you a punching glove. Then you can punch your bombs into there hover-craft it takes about 7 hits for him to blow up. Oh-yeah don't go under his hover-craft!!!

Collecting goodies tipCollect goodies early in the game. Don't worry aboutkilling other people until later. Otherwise, you'll justwaste your time trying while other people are collectinggoodies.
Multiple bombs tipIf you get multiple bombs early on, then use them earlyon. You can work twice as efficiently by setting one bombwhile waiting for another bomb to explode. Don't beafraid to "sit on" a bomb for a little while. It's notgoing to go off right away.
Detonator tipIn the zones with detonator bombs (Speed and Flower), if you are the only one with detonator, then that means another one is out there somewhere. Don't waste your time trying to kill people: find that other detonator first instead, and when you do, take or destroy it. (Or if you're playing Team Bomberman (see below), you might trysaving it for your teammate.)
Sit on the bomb trickIf you sit on your bomb for awhile and then move away at the lastmoment, your body will cover much of the bomb -- and your opponents may therefore not see the bomb until it's too late.
Punching a bombIf you sit on a bomb before punching it, then it will go off sooner after it gets punched, giving your opponents less time to get away. Also, if you punch a bomb onto an opponent, your opponent will be temporarily stunned -- and if you sat on the bomb long enough beforehand, there will be nothing he can do in order to avoid getting killed.
Set off other bombsAn exploding bomb sets off other bombs. You can use this to your advantage by setting off other bombs early if you've been sitting on a bomb for awhile. This takes a bit of practice.
Make a bomb bounce foreverWhen the wall starts to cave in, it is possible to punch a bombover a wall such that by the time the bomb makes its way around towhere you punched the bomb from, the wall will have completely filled in for that section. This will cause the bomb to bounce forever.
