Get a boost crystal from a Star Fox shipSent in by ChrisGo to Free Trax and select Night Cruise. There are four signs that say Star Fox, if you knock down the first three, a ship from Star Fox will come and give you a boost crystal.
Hit the bridge and spin into the airSent in by LuigiOn King's Forest in free trax, select the 2wd. At the beginning of the course turn around and drive until the big hill is barely visible. Hit the boost and hold down. If you are going fast enough over the hill, you will catch enough air to hit the bridge and spin into the air. This looks best using the secret view.
Perfect view of the 1st marine pipeSent in by David SouzaHave 2 players play and go to Marine Pipe. Have one player stop his car so that he has a perfect view of the 1st marine pipe, and stop. Have the other player go off the edge and laugh your heads off. It's surprising how funny it looks.
Play the Battle games against a computerIf you wish to play the Battle games against a computer, all you do is unplug the second player's controller at the start of the race (before the green light comes on) - The computer will take over the control ofwhichever controlpad you unplugged
Two cars you selected race each otherStart battle mode and when you get to the race track don't press anything. The two cars you have selected will race each other. If you only have one control pad just select the first car and then quickly swap the control pad over to port two and select the second car.
Get a new viewThere is a secret view in the game that can be accessed in two ways.The first, the easier way, is accessed by hitting L, R, and Select all atthe same time. The second way is to pause the game, then press L, R, L, R, L, R, L, R. Now unpause. Use this new view in any normal stage.This makes the game just a bit more difficult unless you have memorizedall of the courses. But, the real use of this is in the bonus stages. Instead of having the cumbersome slow to move view, you get the normal chase view. This allows for records such as 14.35 seconds on the second bonus stage. 
Warp to the upper part of the trackSelect the "Free Trax " race, choose the 2WD car, and the "White Land" course. When you start the race, you'll see a sign that saysÊ"Stunt Race FX" on it. When under the sign, press Jump to warp to the upper part of the track.
Make the animated car go faster, slower, or backwardsOn the Pause screen, you can make the animated car go faster, slower, or backwards with these tricks. Press Start to pause. Press Y to go faster, press the L or R Buttons to go slower, and press Select to go backwards. 
Quick endAny time during gameplay, hold L, R, and Select, then press Start for a quick end.
