Sound testHighlight the "Sound" selection on the setup screen. Press Select to stop the current song. Press various buttons to play different sounds.
Crazy HardAt the Title screen, go to the Set Up screen and highlight Level. Press Left, Left, Right, Right, Down, Up, Down, Up, A, and X. A new "Crazy Hard" difficulty setting will appear.
WalkthroughLevel 1 LakesideIn the beginning of level 1 jump from tree to tree collecting jewels. Forevery 100 Jewels collected you will receive a free Sparkster. After collectingmost of the jewels and becoming comfortable with Sparkster, go to the right.Eventually you will reach the mid-level boss. To defeat the gorilla robotrocket diagonally at his mid-section. You must hit him six times to defeathim. You will now automatically rocket into the ship. Go right and rocket intothe mid-section of the green robot to defeat him. Keep going right; when youreach the wall power up your rocket pack and rocket through it. Jump up tocollect the three fruit power up icons. Go back to the left and when you passthe wall rocket straight up. When you reach the top, go left and rocketthrough the crates. You will now need to rocket diagonally to go up. When youland, rocket straight up and go to the right. As soon as you see jewels goingdiagonally to the lower right fall down and rocket through the wall to yourleft. Collect the three apple power up's and go all the way to your right. Youwill see princess Flora being kidnapped by Axle Gear. The end-level boss willcome up through the floor and attack you. To defeat the drill robot you mustrocket at his eye or hit his eye six times.Level 2 Steel WorksAt the beginning of this level go down and right until you reach a wall.Rocket through the wall and go all the way to the right. Rocket straight upand go right, down, and right. Before you fall into the fire, rocket straightup and climb all the way to the right. Now rocket straight up and go right anddown. You will now be hanging from a gray and orange pipe. Rocket to the rightand avoid the mechanical arms. To defeat the circular saw, power up yourrocket pack and rocket at it while pressing your controller Up/Right. Jumpup and get on the elevator, then go to the right and jump onto the bridge.Keep going right, don't stop on the bridge, because it will explode. Go rightclimbing on the gray and orange pipe. When you reach the wall rocket straightup. Jump up and go to your right. Keep going right and go up the elevator bythe wall. Now go right and go all the way down. hang from the last gray orangepipe or you will fall into the fire. Go right and you will be in a room withgray pipes that go up and down diagonally. Rocket to the top one and pressyour controller Up/Right to avoid falling. Power up your rocket pack androcket to the upper left. Go left and when you reach the wall rocket straightup. When you reach the top go right until you reach the conveyor belts, jumpfrom conveyor belt to conveyor belt. When you reach the roller, jump on top ofit to avoid being crushed. Keep going right and you will reach another roller,jump on top of it and continue to the right. While hanging from the grayorange pipe by the wall rocket straight up. when you reach the top press R toland on the conveyor belt. Go slowly to the right avoiding the crushers. Fallto the lower right, power up your rocket pack holding Y and jump on top ofthe rollers. Rocket straight up, go right, then go down. Jump from conveyorbelt to conveyor belt. Go down and right and you will be at the mid-levelboss. To defeat the boss rocket straight up at the red eye four times. Goright and down, you will land on a conveyor belt. Go right and you findyourself behind a large white square. If you are in the middle of the squareand rocket straight up and press R when you reach the top you will find asecret area with a "weird 1up". Go back down and go right and you will gothrough a machine that will paint Sparkster orange. Jump on top of the rollerand jump from pipe to pipe until you reach the top. Go right and down, goright and you will reach another white square. If you are in the middle of thesquare and rocket straight up and press R when you reach the top you willfind a secret area with a bunch of jewels. Go back down and to the right andyou will be on a conveyor belt. Rocket diagonally to the upper right and youwill avoid the rollers and land on another conveyor belt. Keep going right andyou will fall down to the end-level boss. To defeat the boss you will need tohit the yellow head about twelve times. You only need to avoid the end of therobots arms.Level 3 BirdAt the beginning of the level you will be riding Stampy-do. While ridingStampy-do you can press "Y" to make him shoot or you can jump up and attackenemies using Sparkster. Once you reach the top of the mountain you will jumpfrom Stampy-do to another Stampy-do, press down to avoid the spikes. Jump downand ride the new Stampy-do until you reach the mid-level boss. To defeat himyou must hit the red wolf six times. You will now go down and jump fromStampy-do to another Stampy-do several times. Be sure to duck and avoid thespikes. When you cross the bridge, stay to the right. A green robot will beginthrowing bombs at you while hanging on a vine. To defeat them hit them oncewith your sword. You will now be at the end-level boss. To defeat him rocketat him; when a section of his body fall off shoot it using Stampy-do's laser.After a while he will come down and shoot fire at you. To defeat him hit hishead five times.Level 4 SubmarineYou will now be in a submarine. Go left and down to the lower left until youreach a robot snake with a wolf soldier. Stand under the robot and hit thehead four times to defeat it. The floor will open up, go down and to theright. Duck in the pits to avoid the laser beam. Go all the way to the right.To destroy the laser beam walls, hit them five times with your sword. When youreach the end rocket straight up and go left, then go up and right. Keep goingright and go through the pipe. You will now be in a room that has watershooting up through the floor. Go right slowly and avoid the water or it willpush you into the spikes. Rocket up and go slowly to your left while avoidingthe steam. Rocket up and go right, jump up the stairs and when you reach thetop rocket to the right to collect the apple power ups. Go down and to theright. Break the wall with your sword and a wall of water will begin chasingyou. Power up your rocket pack and before you reach the spikes rocket up tothe next level. Jump from platform to platform and rocket up to the next levelbefore the water catches up to you. Rocket to the right and rocket straight upbefore the next wall of spikes. Rocket to the left and rocket up before thenext spike wall. Rocket to the right and a door will close behind you. Youwill now be safely away from the flooding water. Rocket up diagonally and goleft; every time you hit the fish on top of the water you will collect adifferent power up. Go back down, now go right and rocket though the spikedarea. Rocket straight up and press R when reach the top. Go left, you can hitthe planes with your sword or duck to avoid them. Keep going left and you willreach the end-level boss. Get close to the gun turrets and jump up to hit themwith your sword. It will take about four hits to destroy each one. Afterdestroying the top one you will be thrown over to the left side of the boss.Jump up and stand next to the red wolf and shoot left to destroy the gunturret. Stand in the upper right hand corner and shoot to the left to hit theboss. Hit the boss's body nine times to destroy him.Level 5 PyramidYou will now be in the pyramid stage. Jump up and go right, keep going to theright until you reach the pyramid. To defeat the robot walkers shoot themthree times with your sword. When you reach the pyramid go down and rocketdown to avoid being crushed by the purple balls. Keep going right until yousee the first door. Go through the first door twice until you see a walkwaygoing to the lower right. Walk right and through the next door you see. Now godown and right and you will face the mid-level boss. To defeat him avoid hisfeet and either hit his head with your sword or rocket at this head. After hetakes 8 hits he will begin to fly. Stay in the lower right or left hand cornerand rocket at his head 5 times to destroy him. Go right and jump up and keepgoing right. Get on the moving platforms and you will see a triangle above youand two boxes on the right and left hand side of the triangle shooting blueflames. Stay on the platforms and rocket straight up at the two shootingboxes. when both of the boxes are destroyed the triangle will fall and theplatforms will start going up. Jump on to a platform and when it reaches thetop jump up and go right. You will see a room above you with fruit power ups.Rocket straight up through the blocks and get the fruit power ups. Now go downand left. To get past the pit power up your rocket pack and jump and rocket tothe left. Keep going left and when you reach the wall rocket straight up.Press R when you reach the top to collect the banana power up. The nextsection is tricky. You need to jump on top of the ball and stay on the righthand side of the ball. Now tap left on the control pad to make the ball goright. when you get to the wall rocket straight up. Press L when you reachthe top. Rocket straight up through the ceiling and press L when you reachthe top. Go to the left and rocket straight up and collect the 1up icon. Goback down and get on top of the ball and balance yourself on top of it whileworking your way to the left. Go up the stairs and jump on top of thetransparent triangle. Walk to the edge of the triangle which is rising toavoid falling off the triangle. Before you reach the top of the pyramid rocketoff the triangle going right to avoid the spikes. Go right and you will facethe end-level boss. To defeat the robot snake jump up platform to platform andhit it's head about ten times.Level 6 Musical TownYou are in musical town. Keep going right and when you reach the piano youwill face the piano playing robot. To defeat him avoid his hands and rocket athis head six times. After the boss is defeated, you can jump up and down andfind out if you have any piano playing skills. Go right and hit the orangerobot's twice with your swords to defeat them. Keep going right and walk intothe transporter. Go down and jump into the pipe that looks mysteriously like ahorn. Keep going right and you will see wolves trapped in bubbles. Jump on topof a bubble and you will wind up inside of it. While floating in the bubblekeep going right. When you finish the bubble area you will see pink musicalnotes. Use your sword to destroy them and keep going right. Jump into the pipeand go right. Go up the stairs and enter the next transporter. Slide down thepipe and go right. Jump into the third pipe. You will now go through anotherdrum section. Keep going right and enter the transporter. Keep going right andyou will meet the end-level boss. When you walk up to Axle Gear he will rocketstraight up. Jump from platform to platform to avoid his attack. You must hithim ten times to destroy him. When he is defeated he will kidnap princessFlora.Level 7 ShootingYou will now see our fearless hero Sparkster jump into a cannon. Cannon manwill supply Sparkster with wings and he will fly into space in hopes of savingprincess Flora. To spin press L or R. To shoot the spread weapon press B. Ifyou want to use your sword press Y. To easily defeat enemies on this stagehold B while tapping Y to attack with your sword. When you reach the darkblue ship shoot its mid section to destroy it. Once you reach the front of theship you will see Axle Gear escape. I a few seconds the screen will switchperspectives and you will be in a robot and you will see the end-level boss.Axle Gear and Sparkster are now both in robot suits. Press L and R to punch.Press L and R simultaneously to block. If you press Y you will be able toshoot. Follow a pattern of blocking then fighting then blocking when attackingthe boss. You will need to hit the robots body several times to defeat him.Level 8 FortressGo right and duck in the pits to avoid the rockets. Keep going right until youreach the end then rocket straight up and press L when you reach the top.Collect the jewels and the apple power up. Keep going all the to the right andyou will see the mini-boss. The rocket that you are standing on will explodeand send you and the robot up the tunnel. To defeat the boss hit hismid-section 5 times. You will now land in an area with robot that look likeStampy-do; hit them with your sword to destroy them. Keep going right and youwill be hanging from a pipe. Fall quickly from pipe to pipe to avoid beingelectrocuted by the scorpion robots. If you want to destroy them rocketing atthem is the most effective way to do so. When you reach the bottom go rightand then rocket straight up. Now go right then all the way down. To reach theapple power up icons power up your rocket pack and rocket straight up andpress R. Go down and all the way to the right and you will see the mid-levelboss. The easily destroy the power source generator stand in the lower righthand corner, face left and jump up while pressing "Y" to shoot it. It willtake about five minutes to destroy it but you will be safe. Go right thenrocket up and go left. You will now run into a group of blue beetles with alaser reflecting off their backs. Jump quickly as you go left to avoid thelaser attack. Rocket straight up and go left. Rocket straight up and go right.Jump past the beetles quickly and keep going right. Go down and all the way tothe right. You will now be in an orange tunnel. Rocket up and press L to goleft. Rocket straight up and press R to go right. Rocket straight up andpress L to go left. Rocket straight up and press R to go right. Rocketstraight up and press L to go left. Rocket straight up and repeatedly tap Rto float, while floating power up your rocket pack and rocket up in mid-air.Press L to go left. Rocket straight up and press R to go right. Keep goingright and you will find princess Flora. Before you can save her the end-levelboss appears. To defeat Generalissimo Lioness jump over his fire attack toavoid it. Watch the lightning and stay in between the lightning rods to avoidbeing electrocuted. To attack him stay on the opposite side of the screen andpress Y to hit him with your sword. It will take about three minutes todestroy him.Level 9 Missile DestructionIf you set the difficulty level to hard you will meet the final boss. You willneed to diffuse a missile set on a collision course with Sparkster's homelandElhorn. If the missile reaches Elhorn the planet will be destroyed. Keep goingright until you reach the missile core. The missile core has three forms ofattack a laser, fire balls, and bombs. You must hit the blue glass core todestroy the missile core. While fighting the core you should stay in the lowerleft hand corner. During the first wave of the fire attack you should power upyour rocket pack and jump up and rocket attack the core once. Quickly move tothe lower left hand corner and use your sword to destroy the fire. During thelaser attack and the bomb attack just stay in the lower left hand corner toavoid taking damage. If you follow this pattern it will take about fiveminutes to destroy the core.
