8 Power Berrie Locations

1-2. Two of the oh-so-coveted Power Berries can be found at your Ranch. 
Just dig in the ground and you should eventually find them! 

3. There is One that you can find by cutting wood in the Forest. This may take 
a while to find, probably even days in the game, but there IS one, so don't 
give up looking! 

4. If you have a chicken that you're willing to part with, go talk to the 
livestock dealer and tell him that you want to sell a chicken. Go back 
to the ranch and have the chicken ready. A man dragging a bag should 
come before the livestock dealer and offer to trade your chicken for a 
Power Berry! 

5. I'm not sure if this one has to be done at a certain season. First go 
into the woods and talk to the guy by the tent, so you can go fishing. Once 
you catch a fish, pick it up, and throw it right back into the lake! A little 
elf-midget will pop up and thank you with a Power Berry! 

6. During the Egg festival in Fall, if you win the contest by collecting 
the most eggs, you can win either a Power Berry, or a special charm. 
If you win the charm in your first year, Don't worry! The next year, if 
you win, you will be awarded with a Power Berry. 

7. During the Flower Festival of either the first or second year, you can 
purchase a special seed from the old wandering peddler for $2,000. Once 
you have it, you'll have to wait till winter, then plant it on the mountain 
top. A little fairy will come out of the flower that grew from the seed, 
and give you a Power Berry!

8. That mysterious chicken statue holds more to it than you think. Once 
you have the powered up hammer, go up to the statue and smash it. I'm 
pretty sure that it will only work with the powered-axe, so be careful! 
A Power Berry will pop up from the rubble.


Fence tip

If you are tired of constantly chopping wood for fences, then just pick up a 
few rocks and put them where the fence would be. The small, portable ones 
are the only ones that will work. Unlike fences, the rocks won't break in 
the rain, but you can't jump over them.


Plow tip

Errors used with the plow can be fixed by throwing a piece of wood or a 
piece of fence which is wood onto the spot of the plow 'mark'. It will 
disappear after you take the piece of wood off.


See the ending

To see the ending without having to wait those annoying 3 1/2 years, all you 
have to do is this: as soon as the lights go out when you finish writing in your 
diary, hold down R, L, Start, and Select. Note: You must hold down the buttons
the entire time or the code will not work.


300G a fish

In the Summer, if you go fishing and catch a fish, put it in your produce box, 
and, you get 300G a fish. if you're lucky, you can get two a day! 


Mushrooms

If you go to the forest left of the farm, you will find some mushrooms. 
Sell these at the market to increase your wealth.


Crop tip

Before you get the sprinkler, and still have your watering can, make 
the crops like this:

So you can water every crop. But when you get the sprinkler, make 
the crops like this:

This way when you get it you can water all plants at the same time. 


Good fruit

When it is fall there will be a really good fruit. You can find it when 
you get to the 10-23 I'm not totally sure when but it is somewhere 
around there. It is on the mountain at the top of Black Mountain. You 
will be payed $600 or so for it plus your normal crop in take. Now 
that's a way to get ahead. 


Fair tip

When at fairs and stuff save your game the day before it happens like 
the fair. You can get a power berry by winning the contest. If you 
don't win, reset the game and you will start on the day of the fair again. 
Also do this if you want to see everything in the Midnight Fair in Winter. 


Clock

The clock is available only if you upgrade your house before the end of 
the first summer or fall. Aim for the summer. This is only available in 
the first year. The reason it is useful is because you can see what 
time it is by pausing the game. So you can tell how much time you have 
before the shipping clerk comes. 


Watch

Clerk and things that will buy your animals: They all come by around 
6:00. You will need the watch to tell the time. So trust me and get it. 


Golden axe

The golden axe is found in the winter after you hear something about 
the landslide in Black Mountain. When you get there go to the pond with 
your axe and hit it. A fairy will come down. She will ask you if you will 
dropped the axe in. ANSWER YES AND ONLY YES. IF YOU DON'T YOU WILL HAVE 
TO BUY IT AS WELL AS THE OTHER ITEMS!!!


Hoe

The Hoe is found in the little village of the imps. You will hear a sound 
at night. The person will say something about an earth quake. Go down 
to a well and you will find an Imp. He will ask you if you like your hoe. 
Say yes. He will up grade it.


Hammer

The little thingy that you use to get the dirt ready, forgot what it 
was called. The Imp will ask for food. Save him. When you do will 
take the hammer as the other Imp did to get your hoe upgraded.

The hammer is also found in a well. Talk to the Imp by there and he'll 
upgrade it for you. 


Sick cow

If you leave a cow sick too long it will die. Then it will be buried at 
the church's grave yard.


Chicken and a powerberry

Sell a chicken in summer, spring, or fall and a Hawker/Peddler dude 
will ask to trade your chicken for a powerberry.


Weeds tip

One way to get rid of weeds, is to give them to people. 


Power berry

Use a hammer to destroy the chicken statue. Inside is a power berry. 
If it doesn't show up first hit it until it does.


Spring and crops

For Spring, don't grow any crops. Just make 2 or 3 trips to the Back 
Hill and get a wild grape each time to ship. You'll earn more money. 


Summer grass tip

In Summer, buy all the grass you can for livestock. 


Golden sickle

To get the golden sickle, talk to the dwarf in the tree stump after 
a person goes to your farm and says he heard a noise. Say you use 
the sickle often and he will take it and improve it. You will find it 
in your tool shed the next day.


House upgrade tip

To save money, don't get married. You won't need to buy the house upgrades.

10,000 GP
Sell a Cow in the spring and somebody might exchange 
the cow for the Magic Bean. Plant it at the summit in 
the spring at the left rock. Leave the summit, then go 
back and climb the beanstalk. Talk to the chicken and 
say yes. He'll then remove himself to reveal a Golden 
Egg, exit the door and watch the scene to get 10,000 GP.


How do I get the Power Berry in the Cave?
In the second spring, go to the spring in the Mountain to get the 
Super Axe. Chop down the two stumps by the spring, one of which 
will reveal an opening. Drop into the opening to get the berry. 


What is the purpose of the Secret Garden?
Every time you collect a Power Berry, another flower will grow 
in the garden.


Where do I plant the Seed of Snow Flower?
At the top of the Summit, there are two small bumps. Stand facing 
the left one and use the seed. A blue flower will grow and you'll 
get a Power Berry.


How do I open the door at the back of the Tool Shed?
The door at the back of the shed doesn't open until mid-summer. 
A man will arrive at the ranch and say he heard strange noises. 
Search your fields to find a tree that appears to have exploded. 
Enter it to meet the dwarves. When you exit, you'll end up in your 
Tool Shed.


What is the significance of the horse?
You will find the horse the first winter. Produce placed in the 
saddle bags is automatically stored in your Shipping Bin. This 
saves valuable time running back and forth from the fields to 
the Shipping Bin.


How can I increase milk production?
Take time every day to brush and talk to your cows. You will not 
lose any time off your game clock while inside the Cattle Shed 
or Chicken Coop.


I have a sick cow. Now what?
If your Cow is sick, you must cure it with Medicine purchased at the
Livestock Store. A sick Cow cannot be milked or sold, and will infect 
other Cows if not cured.


Can I harvest multiple crops in one growing season?
Yes! You can harvest multiple crops of corn and tomatoes in the 
summer, provided you water them daily.
