[Page 3][HOW TO PLAY:]________________________________________________Starting the Game:At any time during the game demonstration, press the START button to begin thegame.Chooseing the Level and Misson:After the title screen is displayed, you will see a list of three levels andfive missions.The three levels increase in difficulty from Lieutenant to Captain and finallyCommander.  The higher the level, the greater the number of searchlights andthe quicker the enemy.The five missions in order of increasing difficulty are Training, Target,Ultimatum, Trigger, and Jupiter.  As the difficulty increases, the search-lights become quicker, the number of enemy increases, and they are moredifficult to attack. There are no captives in thismission and it will give you experience in commanding your forces.The Objective:Your goal is to rescue all of the captives without losing any members of yourteam.  To mount an effective assault, you must first position your snipersaround the embassy.  Your rescue team will then by lowered by helicopter ontothe roof of the embassy.                                                                      [Page 5]Playing the Game:After choosing the level and mission, you will see a blue print map of thearea surrounding the embassy.  The red X's mark the chosen spots for yoursnipers.  You must place at least one sniper at a designated spot.  Press theA button to continue.Next you will see the starting location of Mike, the first member or yoursniper team.  Press the A button to continue.                                                                      [Page 6][PLACING YOUR SNIPERS:]_______________________________________You must maneuver your snipers to the designated spots using the control pad.Be careful to avoid the spotlights!  Use the cover of doorways and walls toyour best advantage.There are three members of your sniper team; Mike, Steve, and Jumbo.  Thecontrol pad can be used to control their movements as follows:[Left Arrow]            Move to the left.[Right Arrow]           Move to the right.[Up Arrow]              Enter a building or jump over a wall to hide.[Down Arrow]            Exit a building or climb over a wall or lie face down                        if standing.  Once you are lyng down, you may use                        [Left Arrow] and [Right Arrow] to crawl along the                        ground.[Down/Right Arrow]      Somersault to the right.[Down/Left Arrow]       Somersault to the left.[Down Arrow & A or B]   Turn to the right.[Right Arrow & A ro B]  Turn to the left.                                                                      [Page 7][A or B]                If you are in a safe spot you can press the A or B                        buttons to view the map.  This will show you where you                        are in relation to the desired spot.  Press the A or B                        button to return to the game.After all members of your sniper team have placed or lost, you can proceed tothe rescue phase of the game provided that you have successfully placed atleast one sniper.[THE RESCUE PHASE:]______________________________________Your rescue team members Ron, Dick, and Kemco, will be lowered from ahelicopter to the roof of the embassy.  You then have the choice of commandingyour snipers or the members of your rescue team.  The map will now show youthe names of the remaining members of your sniper team and the names of therescue team:It is best to use your snipers to reduce the number of enemies before sendingin the rescue team.                                                                      [Page 8][USING THE SNIPERS:]_________________________________________To use a sniper, move the red blinking cursor to the member of the sniper teamyou want to command and press the A button.  The sniper position will thenblink to show you his location.  If this is the one you want to use, press theA button.  Press the B button if you want to choose another sniper.The view through the sniper's gun sight will be visible in the circle on theright side of the screen.  Use the control pad to move the sight across thebuilding.  Look carefully at all of the windows for the shadow of an enemy.Press the A button to fire your gun.  You can press the SELECT button toreturn to the map where you can choose another sniper or to command members ofthe rescue team.                                                                      [Page 9][COMMANDING THE RESCUE TEAM:]________________________________To command a member of the rescue team, move the blinking red cursor to themember of the rescue team and press the A button.  The position of the teammember will then begin to blink.  Use the LEFT and RIGHT directions on thecontrol pad to move the team member to the desired location around thebuilding.  It is best to position them on sides of the building that you havecovered by members of your sniper team.  When you are satisfied with theposition, press the A button.You must now lower the team member to a window.  Use the DOWN direction tobegin repelling down the building.  Use the UP arrow to stop the repel.  Becareful not to go too fast or you will fall!  When you are positioned directlyover a window, press the A button to enter the building.  You should also makesure that there are no enemies in the window you are trying to enter!                                                                     [Page 10][INSIDE THE EMBASSY:]__________________________________________After breaking your way into the embassy, you will have to begin your sweepthrough the building to locate the captives.The map in the lower left corner will show you the layout of the floor you areon as well as the locations of any enemy (green dots) and captives (blue dots).  The red arrow marks your current location and direction.Use the control pad to carefully move from room to room:[Left Arrow]            Turn to the left (counter-clockwise).[Right Arrow]           Turn to the right (clockwise).[Down Arrow]            Turn around (about face 180).[Up Arrow]              Go forward.If you encounter the enemy, you can fire your machine gun by pressing the Abutton.  While the A button is pressed, the control pad will aim the gun.Eliminate all the enemy and pick up any captives you find. Be careful to monitor the remainingtime indicated in the upper right corner!The game is completed when you have eliminated all of the enemies or when allof your rescue team members have been lost.
