Up lets Bonk enter the Boss Stage elevator.A Button:      Makes Bonk Jump.               Bite walls for vertical climb.B Button:      "Bonk" with head (attack).               Do a midair spin.Start Button:  Pauses the game.               Start "new" Bonk life.{7}TECHNIQUESMidair Spin: Jump and rapidly press the B Button. This slows Bonk's rate ofdescent and increases his jumping distance. This also makes the power ofyour "Bonk" (headbutt) twice as strong.Wall Bite: This is to scale walls that are too high to jump. Jump againstthe surface and Bonk automatically bites the wall. Press the A Buttonto begin climbing.Waterfalls and Tree Climbing: Use the wallclimbing technique to swim up waterfallsand scale trees.The Grand Bonk: When Bonk eats a hunkof meat he is temporarily super charged.By doing a mid air spin and landing on his              {picture}head he sends a pile-driver shock waveacross the screen to damage all enemies.{8}POWER-UP ITEMSHearts:          The life gauge increases by one heart.Smiling Faces:   Collect these to increase heart points at                 the end of each level.Fruit:           The life gauge increases by 1/4 heart.Big Hearts:      The life gauge increases by three hearts.Small Meat:      Gain a Power-up.Big Meat:        {picture}  Gain a Power-up twice as                            big as the small meat.1 Up: Gain an extra life.{9}FLOWER POWERThe Bani-Bana flowers are located all across Dinosaur Land. They provideBonk a variety of different items and bounce effects. These are:Jumping Bani-Bana: These give Bonk the opportunity to jump higher thanhe can by his own strength. Use these flowers to grab items that are outof his reach.Heart Bani-Bana: These give Bonk extrahearts for the Heart Meter. They restorelost energy points.                                                      {picture}Meat Bani-Bana: These give Bonk the smalland large pieces of meat to transform himinto a more powerful Bonk!{10}GAME PLANMake your way through all the levels of Dinosaur Land to take on King Drool ina head banging finale! Look for small flowers to transport you to special Bonus Zones. The action in the main game is temporarily halted as you try your luck in these rounds. Increase your score and your skills in tests of jump/spinning, swimming and climbing.Use these skills to bonk your way across multiple levels of challenges awaitingyou in the different areas.
