In the shots game, take the freestyle board and Nancy because she's slow you have more time to hit the snowmen closer to you. If you're playing battle mode, take the board that suits your player the most (for example: Tommy is fast but tricky to handle, so pick the freestyle board for easiest curves).

When you are about to go onto the part where it is skinny and twisty slow down and turn right when you land on the skinny and twisty part. After 5 seconds let go of A and if you did it correctly the character will say "yeah" and will speed up. You will notice you are speeding up because of the motion of the ground. If you do not hear "yeah" from your character you maybe didn't hold A long enough.
