Yes just simply press any direction on the CONTROL PAD and you can complement the opponent. For instance Mario would say "Nice Shot" if you opponent does a good shot.

Then enter: KPXWN9N3 on the code screen. You will now get to a tournament on Toad Highlands. When you finish that tournament you will get a password.

This way you don't have to replay an entire course 52 times to get all the badges you missed last time around.
