Time outSent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets HunterWhen you are playing the game on any mode, and you want to call a time out instead of pressing start then time out hold R and press Z.
Choose up to nine playsSent in by AlecWhen selecting your plays for offense or defense, hold the R button and the play you want to have and this lets you choose the play above, or hold Z and the play you want to have lets you choose the play below. You can choose up to nine plays now. This way, no one can see which play you are doing.
Run down the field tipSent in by AlecIf you know that the computer or person that you are playing against will be trying to get their next play off fast, simply run down the field and get away from the other players at the end of a play. When the other team lines up for their next play, your player will still be running back. The opposing team is not allowed to call hike until you get back, allowing the clock to run out further or even the game. This is great to keep the other team from kicking a crucial field goal or just to make your friends mad.
Ball does a summersaultSent in by AlecThis glitch involves the quarterback throwing the football. If you watch every single passing play you will notice that right after the quarterback lets go of the ball the ball will rotate 360 degrees vertically before heading out to the receiver. What this means is that the ball will not do a spin, but a summersault. You can also see something similar to this on field goals. 
Referee runs through the field goal postSent in by AlecWhen you kick an extra point after the touchdown and the ball has gone perfectly between the uprights the referee will pick up the ball and he will run through the field goal post.
