Celadon City Slot TipAll of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot.If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon. 
Easy CatchWhen you are catching a Pokemon, throw the Pokeball and press B and down at the same time twice, then press down until you have your Pokemon. 
KadabraTo catch Kadabra, play until you get to Pokemon tower (lavender town). Then go to the left exit and follow the road until you come to tall grass guarded by bushes and gates. Cut the bushes and and go in. Keep fighting until you come across a Kadabra, then fight it and catch it. This could take a while but it is well worth it. 
MewtwoFirst go to Cerlean City and go past the 5 trainers. Take a left and you are in a grassy area. Then go in the water (you need surf to get in the water) until you see land. Get on that land and enter the dungeon. On the bottom floor you will see Mewtwo. Use master ball to catch it. 
RiachuTo Get Riachu, trade the Pikachu you started with a red/blue version after It gets to be about Level 50-60. Then use a thunder stone on the Pikachu you traded. After it evolves trade it back to the Pokemon Yellow. Now you will have Riachu. 
Mimic TMBuy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart, then fly to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM. 
Gym leadersTo beat Brock, catch a caterpie or metapod in Viridian Forest and evolve it into a Butterfree. Butterfree's confusion attack will work well.To beat Misty, catch an Odish on route 24 (level 14 no less) and raise it on route 25. Also raise your Pikachu. Odish's absorb attack is super effective against Staru and Starmie as well as Pikachu's Thundershock.To beat Lt.Surge, catch a Diglett/Dugtrio in Diglett's Cave and make sure it knows Dig, because it works great, but watch out for Riach Mega kick. To beat Erica, evolve your Carmander into Charmeleon and she doesn't stand much of a chance.To beat Sabrina, use that Diglett you caught hopefully it is now a Dugtrio, it's Dig is super effective.To beat Koga, use Butterfree's Confusion and Sleepowder and watch out for the powerful toxic attacks.To beat Blain, evolve your Squirtle into a Blastoise and use water attacks. As for the quiz: #1 Yes #2 No #3 No #4 No #5 Yes #6.
Hidden coinsAt the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. You can get these coins by walking around and pressing the A button.
Rare CandySent in by Jarad MoloneyTo get Rare Candy in Cerulean City, go to the house at the upper-left corner. Go through and out the door on the other side. while there, keep pressing A and eventually you will find one Rare Candy.
Easy way to Bill's secret gardenSent in by Bradford MilbrandtFirst you must go to the pond on the right in front of Bill's house and swim around ten times then go to the old man in Viridian City Talk to him and say ``yes I am in a hurry`` then go back to Bill's house Then go around Bill three times then go to the secret garden.
Get BulbasaurSent in by CyboTo get a level 10 Bulbasaur, go to Cerulean City, be sure to have kept Pikachu extremely happy. Then head to Vermillion City and get the HM CUT on the S.S. Anne. After that, head back to Cerulean City and go to the house right next to the Pokemon Center. Talk to the lady and she should give you a Bulbasaur!
Get CharmanderSent in by CyboTo get a level 10 Charmander, go to Cerulean City and go North of theNugget Bridge. Keep going North then go a little left and talk tothe guy in the closed area. Talk to him and he'll ask if you'll takehis Charmander. Say Yes, and you have him!
Get SquirtleSent in by CyboTo get a Level 10 Squirtle, go to Vermillion City, and get on theS.S. Anne. Get the HMCut from the captain, then teach it to aPokemon. Then cut down the bush blocking the gym. Go in and beat LT.Surge. After that, head out and talk to Officer Jenny in the middleof town. She will see your Thunder Badge and she'll give you a Squirtle!
Roadblock tipSent in by AceWhen you go to Celadon city go to the mall thing and go to the top level buy a fresh water from the machine on the left as soon as you walk in press A and buy a fresh water. Leave and go to a road block. That fake Jenny will take the water and you will be able to get through any roadblock.
Tips on the Pokemon Gym LeadersBrock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer. Misty: Use grass Pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader. Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground Pokemon and he's toast. Erika: Use fire Pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner. Koga: This poison Pokemon lover will be defeated easily by using psy Pokemon. Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire Pokemon against you so you can use water or ice. Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - usewater, ice, plant and he's out of there (and talk to him again and he says something to you).

Cut tipOnce you get the HM "cut", your Pokemon can cut down grassy areas.Use "cut" and it will cut a two by two area. Wild Pokemon will notattack you in the area you cut. 
Experience tipTo easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokemon you want totrain with the top Pokemon on your list. When you go into battle thePokemon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokemon. Onceyou win the battle the beginning Pokemon and the fighting Pokemonwill both gain experience points. 
Do more damageWhile fighting, select your desired attack. When it says you are going to use that attack (eg. "Venusaur used Razor Leaf"), hold down the A button until your opponent's life stops draining. If your timing was right you'll do more damage than usual. 
Floating PikachuFirst you have to go to Fushia city with Pikachu and go to thePokemon center. When you're by the center, jump off the hedge anddon't let Pikachu follow you. Wait until Pikachu starts walking inplace and then start walking away. If you do it right should seePikachu floating behind you
